The Bolgheri Rosso DOC "Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia" is a wine produced by Ornellaia and represents the company's "second wine". It is made with grapes harvested from young vineyards, which produce high quality fruit, and is left to mature in barriques for 15 months. The cuvée is then assembled and further aged for 3 months, followed by a rest in the bottle for 6 months before release. This wine expresses excellent quality levels and differs from its older brother SuperTuscany for the freshness, softness and balance that characterize it.
Ideal for second preparations of meat dishes, it pairs perfectly with poultry or feathered game-based dishes.
