Pomino Bianco Riserva DOC "Benefizio" is a unique expression of the history of Italian and Tuscan viticulture. This 100% Chardonnay white wine won the prestigious gold medal at the Paris Expo in 1878 and has the merit of being the first white in Italy to be fermented in barrique. The Marchesi Frescobaldi winery produces this special label which stands out for its intense aromas and elegant flavours. The grapes are harvested rigorously and the must ferments in barriques, with a partial malolactic fermentation. The refinement takes place for 10 months always in barriques, half new and half second passage. This great white wine is the result of a unique terroir.
Ideal with vegetable cakes and creams, it is also worth trying with fresh fish.
